Mass Training
We developed this program to offer group training sessions that focus on Orthodox mindset, work culture, and professional development for a select group of Sunday School youth servants. Our main goal is to establish a solid basis for future training and initiatives that will benefit these individuals. The group training sessions will be led by Ethiopian Orthodox affiliated organizations that have extensive experience in the field. According to the trainees’ level of participation and ability , the training association will be divided in to three stages.
We developed this program to provide professional skills training customised to the individual career interests of each beneficiary. The training spans between three to six months and equips our select group of youth with industry-sought and applicable professional skills.
This training is designed with low-income and educational backgrounds lacking servants in mind. Applicants are expected to pass application screening and an interview to secure their spot in this program.

Seed Funding
This program will support youth servants of the church who demonstrate entrepreneurial skills, opportunities, and dedication but lack the appropriate amount of funding to bring their idea to life. Applicants will be required to submit their business concepts. Concepts will be reviewed and selected by board members. Applicants then will be connected with Gebre Hier’s partners who will provide funding and support launching efforts.
This program focuses on creating a digital business network for EOTC members. This will be done by creating an active online database that records members’ business activities and sparks business relationships between individuals/institutions. The team is currently working on ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all potential users of said database. This database will primarily be used to get timely and accurate data on Sunday Schools, promote job opportunities to Sunday School servants, and ultimately ensure common utilisation of resources by church members.
